Doctor's bag

Where possible we prefer to see patients at the surgery. However if you are unable to attend due to medical conditions we will visit you in your own home. Please try and contact us before 10:00 am to arrange a home visit and be prepared to give full details to the reception staff. The doctor may telephone you back to assess the situation prior to visiting. House calls are usually carried out between 12:30pm and 3:30pm.

We are fortunate to have a team of volunteer drivers organised by our patient group who can transport patients to the surgery or hospitals if they do not have other means of transport. a small charge is made to cover costs - please ask at reception for details.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP.
